A few things to know.
What will be available first?
Profiles, mail, calendars, contacts and Drive are planned for early access. Other features will follow as optional add-ons.
Can I keep using my current apps?
Yes, compatible apps can connect through standard protocols. Mail uses IMAP/SMTP, calendars use CalDAV, contacts use CardDAV and Drive uses WebDAV.
Can I reserve my name?
Waitlist registration will let you request a name, but will not reserve it. Names are assigned at account signup; some short and reserved names will be unavailable.
Can I take my data with me?
Standard-format exports are part of the plan: mail, calendars, contacts and original files. Public profiles are designed to export as static HTML.
